Carlos A. Bejarano is a Mexican-born, mixed-media artist focusing on contemporary abstract paintings. He lives in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his husband Derek, two corgis, Simon and Zeke, and a raspy-voiced cat named Dorothy.

His paintings come from a state of relaxation and playful thoughts! When he paints, he tries not to be overly serious, but to allow his mind to wander and relax as the paint fills the canvas. Painting allows Carlos to drift beyond the rigid borders of his thoughts into a playful, creative, imaginative, and colorful realm of peace.
